Here’s what Jenny has to say about Kim:

What sets this teacher apart from others? With the flexibility of Galesburg Christian School, teachers might teach a different grade from year to year to help where their strengths are needed. My daughter, Charley was very lucky to have Mrs. Reynolds for her first year at GCS in K5 and again this year in 2nd grade. Mrs. Reynolds has been a blessing to Charley and our family. She takes the time to get to know each child in her class and helps them learn the way they learn best. She teaches the curriculum different ways so that each child will learn to the best of their abilities.

What is one thing this teacher does that is not in their job description but they do it anyway to help you or your child? Mrs. Reynolds is always available if a parent has a question. There are multiple ways to contact her and she responds promptly, even at night or on the weekends. Mrs. Reynolds is very devoted to her class.

Give an example of a way this teacher has helped or impacted you or your child. My daughter struggles with anything new and Mrs. Reynolds understands that about her. She always takes the time to help my daughter cope with what’s coming and changing. My daughter actually enjoys homework when she has it, which is a rare occasion since she finishes most of her work at school with the help of her wonderful teacher.

Congratulations Kim for being named January’s KFM Teacher of the Month from Galesburg Nissan, Tompkins State Bank, Lacky Monuments, Cooks & Company and 105.3 KFM!
