Actor Powers Boothe dies at 68

Actor Powers Boothe has died. His publisist says Boothe died in his sleep Sunday. He was 68. Boothe starred alongside Patrick Swayze, Charlie Sheen, Jennifer Grey and Leah Thomspon in 1984’s Red Dawn; 1993’s Tombstone with Kurt Russell, Val Kilmer, Sam Elliott and Bill Paxton; and 2000’s Men of Honor with Cuba Gooding Jr and Robet DeNiro. He also starred in TV shows such as Spin City, 24, and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.E.I.D. A private service will be held in Texas.
