Galesburg On Track, a Heart and Soul community development initiative that helps small communities that have suffered economic hardships, is holding a community summit this weekend.
Galesburg On Track was established in 2015 between the Galesburg Community Foundation and the Orton Family Foundation.
The summit is scheduled for Saturday at 10 am and runs until 2 pm at the Central Fire Station and all Galesburg residents are welcome to attend.
A free soup lunch being put together by fire fighters will be served and there will be door prizes as well.
Childcare is also being provided for children three and older at the Discovery Depot but pre-registration is required by calling 344-8876 or emailing director-at-discover-depot-dot-org.
