The Knox County Sheriff’s Department aided in the arrest of a Connecticut man Thursday who allegedly requested nude photos of a young girl believed to be from Knox County.
40-year-old Michael F. Siggia of East Hartford, Connecticut faces a number of charges in his home state including third degree possession of child pornography, importing child pornography, use of a computer to entice a minor to engage in sexual activity and risk of injury.
WFSB-TV reports a warrant was issued for Siggia’s arrest after investigators in Connecticut were alerted by Knox County authorities that he was having “inappropriate sexual conversations” with an underage girl.
Police seized various computers and electronics from the man’s home upon arrest as well.
Siggia is being held on $375,000 bond.
