Zootopia earned $73.7 million over the weekend. It’s Disney Animation’s biggest debut, surpassing Frozen, which opened with $67.4 million in 2012. It’s also the fourth biggest March premiere ever. The Gerard Butler action-thriller London Has Fallen was second with $21.7 million in its first weekend. After three weeks at number-one, Deadpool dropped to third with $16.4 million raising its total to $311.2 million. The Tina Fey comedy Whiskey Tango Foxtrot opened in fourth with $7.6 million. Gerard Butler‘s other flick, the fantasy flop Gods of Egypt, fell from second to fifth with $5 million.
