NEW YORK – Jefferson Airplane has been dealt with another loss. On the same day that the group’s guitarist, Paul Kanter, died, so did the band’s original lead singer Signe Anderson. Anderson died Thursday at the age of 74. No cause of death was given. Anderson appeared on Jefferson Airplane’s debut album, then left after she gave birth to a child. She was replaced by Grace Slick.
