Two new movies hit the big screen this weekend. Both of them are horror movies. The first is The Revenant starring Leonardo DiCaprio as a frontiersman named Hugh Glass on a fur trading expedition in the 1820s when he’s mauled by a bear. The other is The Forest. It stars Natalie Dormer and Taylor Kinney and is about a young American woman played by Natalie Dormer who searches for her twin sister who has mysteriously disappeared in a Japanese forest. The forest in the film is 14-square miles and is located at the north-west base of Mount Fuji in Japan. It’s also known as the Suicide Forest or Sea of Trees. It’s infamous for the large number of suicides that take place there with 54 happening in 2010 alone.
