105.3 KFM congratulates Shirley Mosely, a special education teacher at Steele school in Galesburg. Shirley was nominated by Ruth Perez, an aid in her classroom. Here's what Ruth had to say about Shirley:
I am nominating Shirley Mosley for the following reasons: She is kind, compasisonate and longsuffering in dealing with handicap and less fortunate children. I have seen her perform milestones and miracles with chilidren that others have long given up on. She performs unselfishly with chilidren that cannot hug her or tell her how much they thank and care for her. Mrs. Mosley is always upbeat and very positive in a vocation many would not have chosen for theirselves. I have worked alongside this God-given women for 4 1/2 years and she still performs with zeal, dedication and above all, professionalism that appears neverending. For the aforementioned reasons, do I nominate, with vigor, a teacher from the special education unit at Steele School. The special education department at district #205 ought to be very thankful to have someone on their staff with such love and humility.
As KFM’s Teacher of the Month, Shirely wins a $100 gift card from Tompkins State Bank, a balloons from Casey's Party Creations,, and the Big Red Apple Award courtsey of Lacky Monuments and 105.3 KFM Today’s refreshing Light Rock!
