105.3 KFM congratulates Jennifer Kidder, a 9th grade English Honors teacher at Knoxville High School. January's KFM Teacher of the Month. Jennifer was nominated by Morgan Skinner, one of Jennifer's students. Here is what Morgan said about her teacher:

Ms. Kidder is by far one of the greatest teachers I have had in a while. She is always willing to come in before and after school to help with anything we need, whether it be we don't understand, or just need help with our work/projects. She teaches English, does our school yearbook, and is the drama club leader, so she has alot to handle. But with all that, she manages to make sure everyone understands what is being taught. She also relates to the student very well and has a wonderful sense of humor, which makes it alot easier to learn and pay attention in her class. She is very dedicated not only to her teaching, but to teaching her extra curricular activities. She comes in every morning before school for play practice and then has a full day of teaching, but even when she has to wake up that early to get ready for play practice, she is always giddy, funny, and ready to go. Ms. Kidder has defiantly made my first year in high school a year to remember.

As KFM’s Teacher of the Month, Jennifer recieves a $100 gift card from Tompkins State Bank, a baloon bouqet from Casey's Party Creations, and the Big Red Apple Award courtsey of Lacky Monuments, and 105.3 KFM Today’s refreshing Light Rock!
