105.3 KFM along with Toys and Teachers and Lacky Monuments congratulate Katie Hoge, a 5th teacher at Abingdon’s Hedding Grade School, January’s KFM Teacher of the Month. Katie was nominated by Miranda VanUnick who is a student-teacher in her classroom and this is what she had to say:

“I would like to nominate Katie Hoge as teacher of the month. I am student teaching in her class right now and I couldn’t have asked for a better mentor teacher. Not only has she treated me with respect and given me many great learning experiences but she is also an inspiration to anyone who meets her. She has a way of motivating each child. She takes the time to make sure that every child knows how important they are. She is very energetic and is able to come up with great ways to motivate her students to want to learn. She is admired and loved by anyone she touches. Though she is a wife and mother to two small boys, she still manages to give everything she has to her students. As a future teacher, I am truly blessed to have had the opportunity to work with her and watch her teach”.
