Developing Tomorrow’s Leader Conference
November 15, 2018 @ 5:00 pm - 7:30 pm
FreeBuilding on its initial success in 2017, the second annual Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders Conference will offer attendees the opportunity to network with leaders in business, education, and numerous other fields, and serve as a resource for current and future professionals in all industries.
Developed by State Sen. Chuck Weaver (37th District), the Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders Conference has a 5:00 p.m. check-in and a 5:30 p.m. start time on Nov. 15 at the Caterpillar Visitors Center, 110 SW Washington St. in Peoria. The program will be about an hour and there will be a networking reception held promptly at 6:30pm, following it.
“The health of our communities and our state is based on the quality of our future leaders,” said Sen. Weaver. “We have asked several dynamic speakers to share their thoughts about cultivating leadership growth in the workplace and the community. The Conference will also provide an opportunity to network with the speakers and other participants.”
The Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders Conference will feature a panel of Peoria’s strongest entrepreneurs, including:
• Christine Deehring, Founder, Bump Box
• Deepak Gaddipati, CEO, VirtuSense Technologies
• Seshadri Guha, CEO and Founder, TADA Cognitive Solutions
• Dr. Luke M. Haverhals, Founder and CEO, Natural Fiber Welding, Inc.
In November 2017, approximately 250 professionals came together in Peoria to learn more about developing and growing leaders in their own businesses and organizations at the first annual Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders Conference.
“The interest in and the demand for this Conference has been strong,” said Sen. Weaver. “Our mission is to help foster the growth and development of tomorrow’s leaders in our communities, and build a foundation that allows them to help mentor the next generation of leaders.”
