Plenty of events to kick-off the holiday spirit

The Stone-Hayes Center for Independent Living in Galesburg is hosting a pair of Medicare Open Enrollment Assistance events.

The first is being held today from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm – and again next Friday from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm.

Stone Hayes will also be holding assistance every Wednesday at 1:00 pm – no appointment necessary.

Christmas Begins at Walnut Grove Farm in Knoxville this weekend.

Today and tomorrow from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm and Sunday from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm Christmas at Walnut Grove Farm is an annual artisan event that showcases fine local talent while giving families a farm Christmas experience.

It has become the place to begin the holiday season on a National Historic Register farmstead.

Gifts, handcrafted by the artisans at the barn, make gift-giving a genuine experience.

Admission is a non-perishable food item.

The Candyland Christmas Lighted Parade is tomorrow in downtown Roseville.

The parade route begins at the Roseville Community Center and ends at Roseville Rehab and Health Care.

Parade line up is at 4:45 pm and begins at 5:15 pm.

The Knox County Brewing Company is hosting “LIVE with the Memphis Dives” tomorrow night.

The Americana, rock band will be performing from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
