You can take a walk in downtown Galesburg to visit historic locations and hear actors tell the stories of people from Galesburg’s past. Monday, October 21st is the 8th Annual Ghosts of Galesburg Historical Walk beginning at 6:30 pm. Actors will portray historical figures with connections to each location. Tram seats are limited to 20 seats for the elderly or those who cannot walk about a mile, and tram registration is required. Over 300 attendees made the walk last year. The free event is sponsored by the Galesburg Public Library and the Galesburg Historical Society. Dress warm – the walk steps off promptly at 6:30 pm.
