Former “American Idol” contestant Haley Smith has died at 26. According to TMZ, the singer passed away on Saturday morning after crashing her motorcycle in Maine. Police say she filed to make a sharp turn, which resulted in the fatal one-vehicle crash. Smith made a lasting impression with her 2012 audition for “American Idol,” although she didn’t make it past the second Hollywood round.
