Roseville man ejected in single vehicle accident in Henderson Co.

UPDATE 5/18: A Roseville man has died from injuries sustained this week in a single-vehicle crash.

55-year-old David Harn passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City from injuries sustained in the accident.

Illinois State Police say Harn was extricated from beneath his pick-up truck on Wednesday night and taken via ambulance to Great River Medical Center after a single vehicle accident at around 9:01. He was later transported by Medforce Air Ambulance to Iowa City.

According to a release from ISP, Harn was driving east on 700 North when he failed to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Illinois 94, driving through the intersection and striking the embankment on the east side of IL-94.

The release states that the truck rolled multiple times causing Harn to be ejected and pinned under the vehicle after it came to rest in the middle of 700 North.

State police say that no charges are yet filed, but an investigation is pending.

Assisting ISP was Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, M.S.T. Fire Protection District, Stronghurst Ambulance, and Berg’s Towing.

State police say that Harn was not using his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
