Knoxville Mobile signs on as U-Haul dealer

Someone apparently foresees a lot of moving in Knox County as another U-Haul location has emerged in Knox County, at the Knoxville Mobile station.

U-Haul spokeswoman Emma Sounart announced the filling station as a U-Haul partner on Tuesday.

The Knoxville location will offer trucks, trailers, towing equipment, moving supplies and in-store pick-up for boxes.

U-Haul’s live verification technology allows rental transactions to be entirely carried out on a smart device any time of day.

This comes after The Register-Mail reported in December that a UHaul would be making use of the K-Mart portion of the Sandburg Mall in Galesburg.

The mall is now being developed by Knoxville businessman Keith Vaugh, although U-Haul is still expected to move in.

Knoxville Mobile, located across the street from the Knoxville Family Restaurant, is owned by Rick Patel.
