It’s official, the Knoxville Blue Bullets will be competing in the Lincoln Trail Conference.
The Board of Education for District 202 unanimously accepted the invitation to join the LTC Monday night, beginning in the 2021-2022 school year.
Heather Smith, the district’s Activities Director, told the board that she sought feedback from community members as well as coaches and heard nothing but positive things about the move.
Board members indicated the same, that no one said anything negative to them about joining the LTC.
The move comes less than a week after Abingdon-Avon District 276 accepted the same invitation.
Both districts are part of the Prairieland Conference currently.
The Lincoln Trail Conference includes are school districts United, ROWVA, Galva, Stark County, and West Central among others.
