It’s a year of firsts for John Legend. After winning his first Emmy for Jesus Christ Superstar, the EGOT-winner plans to put out his first Christmas album.
A Legendary Christmas will be executive produced by Raphael Saadiq, and will feature Stevie Wonder and Esperanza Spalding. The track list includes seasonal staples like “Silver Bells,” “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire).”
A Legendary Christmas is due out on October 25th. Legend will support the project with a 25-date tour, kicking off on November 15th and wrapping up on December 30th. (Billboard)
