30 years ago Don Fike opened Seminary Manor and the facility has since grown into a campus comprising a wide range of care.Wednesday at 5 p.m. a ribbon cutting ceremony is was going to take place with the Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce.
Seminary Manor on North Seminary Street is a licensed skilled nursing community but there’s also a diverse array of programs like Bounce Back rehabilitation, activity-based care for Alzheimer’s residents at Garden Court or long-term care options for seniors.
Director of Marketing and Sales Don Luper says a key point of their success and longevity is the continuous ownership they’ve been under.
Don Fike has owned Seminary Manor for the duration of its operation.
Seminary Manor Administrator Tracy Owens also credits Fike with putting together a staff that also has an impressively extensive tenure.
