Another man accused of meth delivery made a video appearance in Knox County Circuit Court on Monday.
38-year-old Jon R. Zefo of Galesburg had a weekend bond hearing where his bail was set at $50,000. Judge Raymond Cavanaugh made no changes to Zefo’s bail.
He was charged with six felony counts, including Class 2 charges of Armed Violence, and Meth Delivery under 5 grams. Other felonies include Possession of Meth, Felon in Possession of a Weapon, and Possession of a Controlled Substance.
According to police reports, officers responded to the 100-block of West Water Steet on Friday where they found Zefo allegedly fleeing a bizarre scene.
Zefo was found to have a different variety of pills including Oxycontin, cannabis, and 1.5 grams of methamphetamine. He also had an 18-inch sword strapped to him.
He allegedly knocked on several residencies trying to track down who was responsible for having his car towed, and point set fire to a resident’s trash can before running from the police.
Zefo will be back in court on September 10th for a preliminary hearing.
