Add a massive rain storm to the latest thing that can’t stop Taylor Swift.
She’s already triumphed over major shade thrown her way by Katy Perry and Kanye West, so a massive rain storm is nothing to Tay, as she proved Saturday night at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Taylor was in the middle of her historic run of three consecutive shows at the huge outdoor venue, something no other female artist has done, when the heavy rains hit at the beginning of her set. By the second song, Taylor was soaking wet.
Like the seasoned performer she is, Taylor knows the show must go on, even if it meant getting her “brand new” dress soaked during a performance of “Delicate.” As Taylor told her fans, (quote) “Technically, I was dancing in a storm in my best dress.” (Billboard)
