District 205 to have 6 principals in new jobs next year

District 205 will have new principals at six of the eight K-12 buildings that are in the district next year. Most changes are because of inter-district transfers but others are coming as a result of retirement, staff moving out of the district or resignation.

After the personnel report approved by the 205 Board on Monday night Lombard Middle School, Steele, King, Gale Silas Willard, and Nielson Elementary schools will all have new principals for next school year that weren’t in place for the beginning of the 2017-18 year.

Nielson Principal Matt LeClere resigned in October and an interim has held the job for the remainder of the year while new hire Katherine Jennings is waiting in the wings for the next year.

King’s Joan Hoscheck is retiring at the end of this year and Amy Nielson will take her spot.

Then there’s Lombard where Principal Nick Sutton is moving on to become Superintendent of Stark County.

Current Lombard Assistant Nick Young is being promoted.

Steele’s Matt Lingafelter is transferring as an assistant at Churchill, while Gale’s Jennifer Graves is taking over at Steele.

Silas’ Tiffany Springer has been promoted to a reinstated position at the board office, Director of Curriculum while current Director of Human Resources, Jon Bradburn will lead Silas next year.

That leaves only Churchill and GHS as the lone schools without shakeups at the top.

The only administrative opening listed on the 205 website is for a principal at Gale.
