The Taylor Swift Reputation Tour starts one week from tomorrow.
Phoenix hosts opening night on May 8th. The president of the Arizona Sports and Tourism Authority exclaimed, (quote) “The frenzy continues to grow as Taylor Swift has already broken the University of Phoenix Stadium’s concert attendance record. It was previously held by One Direction in 2014 with 56,524 fans.” (Billboard)
Believe it or not, Taylor still has not sold out this show. With just one week remaining and at least 1,000 floor seats are available through Ticketmaster. Even premium sections that are directly in front of Taylor’s three stages are still not sold out. (Ticketmaster)
Over the weekend, Taylor revealed to her 107 million Instagram followers that the main stage stands 10 stories tall. The back wall is a massive video screen that seamlessly melds with the stage surface. (quote) “It looks so cool from the upper sections of the stadiums! It’s kind of like you’re walking on an optical illusion.” (Billboard)
