Seven arrested for meth related felonies in Warren County

Seven individuals were arrested and taken into custody in Warren County Wednesday on felonies related to possession and delivery of meth.Monmouth Police, Warren County Sheriff’s Office, West Central Illinois Task Force and Illinois State Police have been conducting a 3 month long investigation of meth trafficking in Monmouth.

That investigation lead to search warrants being executed Wednesday on two residences that were suspected of ICE meth trafficking.

Arrested were Jared A. Asmus, Tonsy D. Bennett, Nabeck L. Cole, Andrew J. Litton, Patrick J. Pence, Timothy E. Pence, Taylor J. Petty, DayShawn D. Simmons.

Bonds set range from Cole’s $75,000 on a charge of meth delivery to $200,000 for Petty and Simmons on delivery and meth conspiracy charges.

Warren County State’s Attorney Andrew Doyle says the investigation is ongoing and additional arrests connected with this operation are expected.
