Multiple events Thursday, April 26th at Galesburg Christian School

An alternative option for families in Galesburg for their child’s education that may sometimes get overlooked in the Galesburg Christian School. The Galesburg Christian School offers class sizes of around 15 students with more teacher-student interaction. In four years, the school has doubled in size: going from an enrollment of 69 students in 2014, to 158 this year. For those who haven’t visited GCS recently or are interested in learning more about all the school has to offer, there’s a great opportunity Thursday, April 26th. Administrator for the Galesburg Christian School, Bob Nutzhorn says the school has doubled up, and will have two events throughout the day. “We decided we just wanted to have a lot of fun in one day,” Nutzhorn joked. “So we’re doing a blood drive in the morning and in the evening we’re having and Open House/Academic Fair. This is an opportunity for not only existing parents of students to come out – check out what their student’s been doing, but also, maybe families who just may be thinking about GCS. It’s an opportunity for you to come out, see the school, see what our students do, and just check out the campus.” The blood drive at the school begins Thursday morning at 8:30 am. Walk-ins are welcome, but reservations are encouraged. The Galesburg Christian School Open House begins Thursday evening at 5:00pm and will run through 7:00 pm.
