A reported burglary to an empty home is being looked at by the Galesburg Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Pine Street for a complaint of burglary at a vacant home. The residence was in the process of being fixed up.
According to reports, officers made contact with the complainant who informed police that a basement window was broken into to gain entry to the home.
Allegedly nothing was taken from the home, although there were clothes that had been moved, and a green and yellow Yard-Master lawn mower that was unsecured outside had been taken.
It is unknown of an approximate time for which the break-in occurred. No arrests have been made.
