Salvation Army only at 50-percent of their goal through Red Kettle Campaign

The Salvation Army has announced that they’ve only raised about 50-percent of their $116,000 goal for this winter. The donations received through the Red Kettle or Mail goes toward “making a difference in the lives of your neighbors”. Those donations help the Salvation Army provide assistance at Christmas and throughout the year as well with many area programs. Those programs include Pathway of Hope Homelessness Prevention, Emergency Transitional Housing Supportive Services for Veterans, both women and men ministries, and even emergency disaster training. The red kettles, and their bell ringers can be found out front of many area business throughout the holiday season.
