The Warren County United Way is getting ready for their upcoming fundraiser on Saturday.
The 3rd Annual “Tap & Cork” event at Market Alley Wines in Monmouth will run from 7:30pm until 9:30pm. Jeannie Weber, Executive Director for the United Way of Warren County says it’s one of the bigger fundraising events of the year. “One hundred percent of the proceeds for this, and any event at Warren County United Way, will go directly to the member agencies that we serve,” Weber said. “We’re currently funding 23 agencies in the Warren County are – and approximately 37,000 families in the community.” Market Alley Wines and DeNovo Beverages will feature special wine and beer; Alfano’s of Monmouth is creating special hot and cold appetizers. There will be live music performed by Craig Vivian & Company, and special celebrity bartenders made up of United Way board members. Tickets for the event are $25 and are available at Market Alley Wines and the Warren County United Way. There are limited tickets available – with attendees able to win gift baskets, and cash prizes up to $1,000.
