Galesburg police say four individuals have been charged with murder in the death of 19-year-old Dakota R. Tinkham who was found dead this morning from gun shot wounds in an armed robbery.
Police have arrested 19-year old Miguel A. Roma and a 16-year-old juvenile for the murder. Both were additionally charged with home invasion and armed robbery alongside 18-year-old Raymond Gable who faces the latter two charges.
Additionally, police are searching for four others. Warrants for murder are out for the arrests of 18-year-old Jovendia C. Williams and a 17-year-old juvenile. Both face home invasion and armed robbery as well. Finally,18-year-old Charles E. Posey and 19-year-old Dalton B. McKee have warrants for the latter charges as well.
The arrests stem from the scene of a robbery where Tinkham was found late Wednesday night at 1126 Emery Street. Knox County Coroner Mark Thomas pronounced him dead at the scene.
